    • Who is Swiftimize built for?

      Hospitality groups, events teams, staffing agencies, and any business that mixes permanent staff with zero-hours or minimum-hours workers and contractors. Multi-team setups with supervisors are first-class.

    • Is the workforce UK-specific?

      Today, yes — statutory holiday accrual, fit notes, right-to-work checks, VAT, PAYE-friendly exports and tax-year periods all assume UK rules. The data model is country-scoped so other jurisdictions can be added without rewriting your records.

    • Can workers use it on their phone?

      Yes. Workers receive their rota over WhatsApp + email and can accept, request holiday, declare sick leave, view payslips and (for contractors) issue invoices from their phone browser. No app to install.

    • How does onboarding work?

      You invite a hire by email with a worker type (payroll or contractor) and a contract type. They walk through a guided checklist that collects ID, right-to-work, address, banking, qualifications, references and payment details. You review and approve, the contract is signed electronically, and they go live.

    • Do we get a contract template?

      Yes — permanent, minimum-hours, zero-hours, contractor, 48-hour opt-out, termination letters and resignation letters are all included as editable templates. Replace the bundled ones with your own .docx or Handlebars body from the admin panel.

    • How do rotas reach the team?

      Build the week's grid for every team member, click Send, and Swiftimize delivers it on WhatsApp + email with an Accept button. Amendments resend automatically; you see acceptance status next to every name.

    • How is payroll handled?

      Swiftimize doesn't replace your payroll provider — it produces the payroll input. Approved hours, holiday pay, service charge, gratuity, bonuses, commissions, allowances and reimbursements roll into the configured weekly / fortnightly / four-weekly / monthly period with a single CSV export your accountant uploads.

    • Can contractors invoice us through the platform?

      Yes. Contractors pick a date range, the system pulls the hours and items the client allocated, the contractor edits the lines (with per-line VAT toggles), and a PDF invoice is generated from an editable Handlebars template. Pending → submitted → paid lifecycle, with withdraw before payment.

    • Is there a free trial?

      Every new account gets a subscription trial plus a free allowance of onboardings (Lite, Basic, Premium) and termination letters before any usage is billed. The exact allowances are shown on the pricing page above.
